The online and print versions of Ten Different Things publication are now available! Edited by curator Kate Armstrong, the publication celebrates the series of public art commissions in Vancouver that engaged ten artists to investigate the role of culture as a critical ingredient in the construct and vitality of the contemporary city throughout 2018.
The 110 page publication features a set of policy-oriented provocations that emerged throughout the process as well as writing and photography by participating artists Holly Schmidt, Colleen Brown, Janet Wang, Jen Weih, Laiwan, Henry Tsang, Pongsakorn Yananissorn and Denise Holland, Instant Coffee, Casey Wei, Khan Lee, and their collaborators. Also included are contributions by Adrian Sinclair and photography by Barb Choit.
Ten Different Things is a collaboration between CityStudio Vancouver, and Living Labs at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and supported by the City of Vancouver Public Art Program.
