BGML is partnering with Canadian Association for Sound Ecology<\/a> and The Only Animal<\/a>, to investigate how listening, sound-making and land-based material art practices can help foster care for more-than-human lifeworlds. The project will explore sound walks, sound improvisation workshops, readings, discussions, natural dye workshops and botanical printmaking. Participating artists\/facilitators include Rita Kompst (x\u02b7m\u0259\u03b8k\u02b7\u0259y\u0313\u0259m [Musqueam]), Toni-Leah C. Yake (Kanyen\u2019keh\u00e0:ka [Mohawk]), Anju Singh, Liz Ellis, Adrian Avenda\u00f1o, Lara Felsing (M\u00e9tis), Audiotopie<\/a> and the Branching Songs<\/a> Ensemble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equinox Roundtable<\/em>
The Equinox Roundtable focuses on listening and material-making in relation to thought and creative practices in decolonization. Coinciding with the Vernal Equinox, the Roundtable offers an Earth-informed, seasonal gathering with a variety of hands-on sessions including workshops, soundwalks, listening and making activities, along with discussion and sharing. Workshop leaders and discussants include:\u00a0Adrian Avenda\u00f1o<\/a>,\u00a0Lara Felsing<\/a>,\u00a0Toni-Leah C. Yake<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
