Please join the S3D Centre at Emily Carr and VanVR Meetup group on Monday Nov 17th, 7pm at the MOCAP studio inside Intersections Digital Studios @ Emily Carr University of Art + Design! In our third partnered event with VanVR, we showcase the work of our undergraduate student Kushal Goenka with his creation “The Internet” UE4 VR environment. Attendees will be encouraged to experience the demo with the VR headsets provided, including David Clements latest generation VR headset design.<\/p>\n

“Through the use of a Virtual\u00a0Reality headset, the Oculus Rift\u00a0in this case, the user will be\u00a0able to enter this space – this\u00a0vast intangible library. The\u00a0environment attempts to\u00a0convey the magnitude of the\u00a0internet, while also reminding\u00a0the viewer of the isolation that\u00a0one can experience in this\u00a0space as one may behind the\u00a0screen of a laptop.”<\/p>\n

When: Monday November 17th, 7pm<\/p>\n
