Research Assistant, Recycling Alternative: WHIZE 2021
Zahra is a 2nd-year MDes (Interaction) student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She aspires to dive deeper into the field of Interaction Design with ethical, social, and environmental awareness. Before joining Emily Carr, she co-founded a business in Tehran (Iran) and worked there for over 4 years while pursuing a BA in Visual Communications. So far, she has worked as a UI/UX, Visual Communication, and 3D designer in several studios and startups. Her current research practice draws inspiration from nature and digital technology where she is searching for new ways to interact with our surroundings and the more-than-human world.
