Paulina is an impact-driven leader. She is the Director for British Columbia and the Yukon at Futurpreneur Canada- a national non-profit organization providing early stage resources, mentorship, and financing to start-up entrepreneurs aged 18-39. Paulina is the youngest Director in Canada, leading the organization’s third largest market hub.
Paulina was appointed the Government of Canada’s Expert Panel on Youth Employment, advising the Minister of Labour, and Prime Minister Trudeau, Minister of Youth on the Government of Canada’s $800M youth portfolio.
In 2008, Paulina was a founding director of Young Women in Business and grew the organization to be Canada’s largest non-profit providing personal and leadership development of millennial women, serving over 8,000 women annually. In this capacity, Paulina worked directly with female CEOs and Founders and significantly shaped the leadership opportunities available for young women. Paulina ran YWiB for eight years on an entirely volunteer basis. Passionate about gender equity and equality, Paulina is the author and publisher of the book, Canada 150 Women, which features intimate interviews with Canada’s top 150 female leaders, luminaries, and champions.
She has been recognized in the community for her significant contributions and has been awarded the Vancouver Board of Trade’s inaugural Wendy McDonald Award, The International Alliance for Women Top 100 Award in Washington DC, the KPMG National Leadership Award, among others. She was a finalist for the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Awards in the Young Woman of Distinction category.
