Annie Canto is currently enrolled in Emily Carr’s MFA program. Her work explores the apprehension, humor, and intimacy experienced in social interactions. She works with dialogue, performance, text, comics, and food to instigate participation in her curated spaces. In keeping with her relational art practice, Annie is interested in the potential of art making as a communicative and educational resource in classrooms and communities.
