Soumya is a designer, researcher and business owner currently situated in Vancouver, BC. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
Soumya is originally from India where she completed her Bachelor in Design from Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Bangalore. She has over 3 years of experience in communication design and user experience design across multiple industries in India. In Vancouver, Soumya has set out to explore the intersection of Visual Design and the local food industry. In the process of setting up a food based communication design practice, she hopes to explore visual design as more than just an aesthetic tool but a contributor to the vision and mission of brands she works with.
