The Internationally Educated Physiotherapists Exam Preparation (IEPEP) program at UBC partnered with the Health Design Lab (HDL) at Emily Carr to address the research question: what communication tools might be used to effectively market the IEPEP Program to IEPs who aspire to work in Canada? The HDL team first conducted a precedent survey, looking at the current marketing context of other similar services to consider how IEPEP could best make an impact. Students then ideated widely, considering several different paths. IEPEP personnel were presented with a few general directions and one direction was selected for implementation. Materials were further expanded and refined before the production of the final project deliverables.
