Tyler Hawkins’ Customizable Font for People with Low Vision Launches

Tyler Hawkins’ font accessibility tool for people with low vision has launched!
Tyler Hawkins is a recent alumnus from the Bachelor of Design Program at Emily Carr, where he previously joined the Health Design Lab (HDL) as a Research Assistant. In collaboration with the Disability Alliance of BC, the Accessible Technology Program of Innovation, Sciences, and Economic Development Canada, and the Shumka Centre, HDL was pleased to offer support to Tyler on this fantastic initiative.
Optical improves control of font legibility, customizing letters to people’s unique vision and setting the internet in each user’s tailored font.
